HOUSTON, TX. FIELD ENGINEER. Manufacturer of RF related products for the hospital & healthcare industry is looking to hire a Field Service Engineer based in the greater Houston TX area. Local travel is required, and there may also be some overnight travel. Should have a minimum of 3 years field service experience with RF technology or wireless devices. Any experience with RF security devises would be a plus. Must also have networking knowledge, and would prefer networking certifications. An AAS Degree or military electronics training are required. Would also consider 4 years related experience in lieu of degree. Compensation, with overtime, should be in mid $70's range. Must be either a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident, and have excellent communication skills. Company will conduct a thorough background check and drug screen.
Requirements
* Good electronics knowledge is required. Any experience with wireless devices would be an asset.
* Knowledge of networks.
* AAS Degree, military electronics training, or 4 years of equivalent experience.
* Ability to work well with minimal supervision.
* Good customer relation skills along with communication skills.
* Must be either a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.
* Local Houston area people only, no relocation.
