Longmont, Colorado - Sonora Medical Systems, a leading supplier of after market products, services and test equipment to the medical imaging market, announces a Sonora FirstCall Users Testing Accreditation program directed toward non-hospital based technical support entities such as third party service providers, ultrasound original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and multi-vendor service providers. In keeping with Sonora's ISO9001/13485 quality system, all participants in this FirstCall user accreditation process will be site audited by Sonora and will agree to develop and maintain an internal quality system consistent and in compliance with several of the relevant elements of ISO9001/13485. "We have had many requests from after-market providers of ultrasound service for this type of FirstCall accreditation program," said G. Wayne Moore, President and CEO of Sonora Medical Systems. "This program is open to all third party service providers who meet the qualifications and criteria for accreditation. Those who become Sonora Accredited FirstCall users are eligible to purchase the full line of FirstCall products, including the latest version - aPerio™," he continued. In addition to having access to all FirstCall products, Sonora accredited users will also be licensed to create additional probe files for their FirstCall units and have them validated by the Research and Development group at Sonora in compliance with regulatory requirements before use. FirstCall reports generated by Sonora accredited users will also bear the mark "Sonora Accredited FirstCall User," providing the hospitals serviced by these third party providers with assurance of the legitimacy of the test.
