GE Logiq-e MPEGvue SW unable to view images on CD/DVD |
Hello Guys,
We have a Ge Logiq-e US machine. When we try to save the images
on a DVD using MPEGvue option for Echo and vascular studies.
Once the images are saved and when I try to run it on my XP Pro
PC workstation. I am able to see the patient list. But unable to
open the images or run the cine loops.
I get this error:
"MyPlayer: Media File images/m0.wmv is not accessible"
I am using Windows Media Player Version 11.
Installed the .wmv and mpeg2 and mpeg4 windows encoder.
Using IE 8.0.
I have been trying and trying with no luck..anyone have the same
problem or is there a work around..???
Thanks
Tim

Have you gotten an answer to your problem re: "images/m0wmv is
not accessible" error message? I'm having the same trouble and
looking for the solution.
Thanks for any help you can provide to me.

The problem is with your version of Internet Explorer. Uninstall
IE7 and/or IE8 and use IE6 to view the disc. We had the same
issue's and found this to be the resolution.
There may be a way to view this with IE7 or IE8, but at this time
I didn't feel like running through the Advanced options to figure
it out. It was already working on an IE6 system and not on IE7
systems so this was my first course of action.
Happy viewing!

Matt: Thanks for getting back to me. Unfortunately, this doesn't
seem to be my problem. The older notebook I could view the images
on (using IE MpegVue) had been updated to Internet Explorer 8 and
that is what was running the images. So, it would seem to be some
other problem in my case and not the version of IE. Is it
possible that in upgrading to IE 8 that certain files from
previous versions carried over?

Tell me more about your situation. How many computers are we
speaking about? Which one's could view the images? Which one's
can't anymore? What changed between the time it could view and
now? What version of IE were you able to view the images on
before? What version is it no longer working on?

We are consultants helping clients with accreditation of their
(in this case) echocardiography lab. Hard to narrow down the
variables with this one situation. New computer with XP could
open the GE viewing software but could not open the thumbnail.
Vista wouldn't work at all. Older tower with XP same as first.
Older notebook with XP and IE 8 (updated) could open the
thumbnails. Client could open on their independent computer but
recalls some possible similar problem on one of their computers
when they got the system. Another older independent computer
could also open it. Clearly I have gone through the "what is
different" analysis without much satisfaction. I have a call into
a contact at GE now (as this error message seems to be coming up
on GE equip). Thoughts?

Afternoon
Issue is regarding compatibility of MPEGVue on your Logiq E and
IE7 and above. Contact your GE service provider for a release
date of Updated software containing MPEGVue fix

Steven
Which Ultrasound division do we contact?
R&D Dept?
The GE sales rep have no idea of such SW update. The Service
depart have no idea as well. Who in GE should we contact to
resolve this issue?
My other question is. Since GE has a database of all their Logiqe
machines being sold to whom, why did they not make us aware of
this bug?
I have even spoken to your main distributors of GE refurbished
equipment and they have no answer to my problem.
Please help us to contact the right department who would be able
to assist us properly.
Thank you
Tim
