sony up-5100/5200md image is missing from left side

respected sir 
our sony color video printrr up-5100/5200md series when we
connect with processor its give the video out but from left side
its black lines coming and its ditrub the image when we
disconnect the printer its give good image  please suggest what
we can do for that

DO NOT CONNECT!!!
PLEASE BE SURE OF THIS THINGS:
1.- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM PRINTER AND CHECK IF LINES APPEARS:
YES? BAD CABLE. NO? PROCEED
2.- CHECK PRINTER IN ANOTHER MONITOR, FAIL REAPPEAR? PROBABLY AC
VOLTAGE IS GOING BY THE VIDEO CABLE. CHECK GROUND INTEGRITY OF
THE PRINTER. IF PROBLEM DO NOT APPEAR AGAIN, JUST CHECK POLARITY
OF THE AC CONNECTORS. ONE OF THEM MUST BE CONNECTED IN INVERTED
POSITION (HOT & NEUTRAL)
