Nuclear Imaging Services Joins Transphoton Corporation as an Exclusive Distributor of the C! Photon2 Dual Head Nuclear Camera

Houston, TX - Nuclear Imaging Services, LP (NIS) has announced that effective January 1, 2009 it will have exclusive distribution rights of the new C! Photon2 dual head nuclear camera in the territory of Texas and Louisiana. NIS also has co-exclusivity in Arizona, California, Colorado, and Nevada.

The new C! Photon2 is a dedicated small footprint Cardiology dual head gamma camera that has one of the highest weight capacity (500 lbs) in the industry. Mike Hewitt, President of Sales and Service for NIS; states, "We couldn't be more excited about this opportunity to work with a company like Transphoton Corporation. With their 25 years of dedicated nuclear medicine experience and NIS' broad customer base, we look forward to the impact this relationship will have on the Nuclear Cardiology market.
