Edwards Lifesciences Unveils New Training Facility in Switzerland

Last week, Edwards Lifesciences (Edwards) opened a new regional headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland. The facility will serve the operations needs for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, particularly with training in new technologies and techniques for advanced cardiovascular disease.

The firm currently markets its heart valve and related products to approximately 100 countries.

Patrick B. Verguet, Edwards' VP, Europe, Middle East and Africa remarked that the facility was developed in response to a regional demand for critical care for the heart. "We look forward to expanding our commitment to training and education programs by welcoming physicians and healthcare professionals."

The new facility features space for more than 100 employees, a fitness center and healthy food options cafe.

Edwards is a growing global leader with more than 50 years of experience dedicated to the science of heart valves and hemodynamic monitoring. Its headquarters are located in Irvine, CA.
