The AXIS™ II (Accurate X-ray Imaging System) is part of the high performance, 510(k) approved, AXIS series of grayscale LCD flat panel displays from NDS. It incorporates NDS' advanced medical imaging technologies featuring high brightness, high resolution, exceptional contrast, yielding unsurpassed image quality and diagnostic confidence.
The AXIS II is 100% DICOM 3.14 compliant and accepts with any commercial DVI-D graphic card using 3x8 bit color data transfer. The 1200 x 1600 format is ideal for cross-sectional images and high spatial content modalities. User-selectable, factory-DICOM calibration provides diagnostic quality imaging for radiographic reading in any ambient light setting from low-level reading rooms to bright clinical and home office settings.
Multiple analog inputs make the AXIS II ideally suited for legacy applications, replacing CRTs with VGA, R/F, or BNC inputs. It is preprogrammed with five selectable CRT gamma curves to adjust image appearance for different modalities. For PACS systems, the AXIS II supports DVI-digital input for pure digital accuracy. Ultra-high brightness and precise grayscale mapping make the AXIS II ideal for MR, CT, CR, and DR viewing applications.
