Fiber Optic cables
GentleLASE® Plus and GentleLASE® GL18 models use this fiber with standard 12/15/18mm sliders.
This FDA-approved fiber optic is fully compatible with OEM replacement fibers, yet is superior to the Candela product, having:
Higher temperature rating materials
Improved distal-end alignment, reducing flashing
Better flexibility in use
The DuraLITE-GL™ fiber is a replacement fiber optic for the Candela GentleLASE® Plus. Laser Scientific manufactures the DuraLITE-GL™ to identically match the fit, form and function of the Candela fiber.
It's 100% compatible with GentleLASE® Plus (12/15/18mm) laser systems.
The DuraLITE-GL™ even outperforms the Candela fiber in several respects: Higher temperature rating, reducing the overheating failure rate Superior distal-end fiber alignment reduces distance gauge burning and flashing More flexible fiber results in less stress and tugging on handpiece in tight spots.
The DuraLITE-GL™ is more affordable than replacement fibers from Candela.
