This compact benchtop unit provides an economical alternative to higher-priced clinical centrifuges.



The Fisher 228 Centrifuge operates at a fixed speed of 3300rpm. A 6 x 10-15ml, fixed-angle rotor with buckets and numbered tube positions is supplied with the unit. When equipped with buckets, the rotor accepts tubes with dimensions of 13-17.3mm dia. x 100-133mm long. Also accepts 7, 10, and 15mL BD Vacutainer tubes.



Provides consistent, reproducible results for a variety of applications. Ideal for routine blood separations in physicians' offices and small clinics. Built-in timer allows runs from 0 to 15 minutes with 30-second resolution. A HOLD position lets you operate the centrifuge for untimed, continuous runs.
