Refurbished Shandon Varistain Automatic Slide Stainer model 24-3. This automatic unit stains slide-mounted specimens (16 slides per basket) using your procedures as well as your stains and reagents. It responds instantly to changing conditions by simply pressing a few buttons and frees you from both the lab clock and stain/reagent proximity. It allows you to program (in minutes and seconds) up to four 24-step procedures plus two 12-step procedures in its non-volatile memory. It delivers excellent reproducibility and consistency. It comes complete with 24 staining troughs, 4 water wash troughs, 2 vertical slide carriers (64 position), 1 horizontal slide carrier (10 slide capacity), 1 water wash regulator, water inlet and outlet tubing and fittings.
