The MagneVU 1000 will be completely refurbished to the latest model: MagneVU MV 1000-XL.
The MV1000-XL 0.2T extremity MRI is the latest in the extension of MagneVu's core technology, enabling focused and detailed imaging from a small magnetic field.
Like the MV1000, the XL model is used to identify early Rheumatoid Arthritis and monitor patients response to therapy. With the XL series, MagneVu introduces "XL" Scans, pre-defined sets of imaging sequences included exclusively with the MV100-XL. The XL Scans offer significant value with several improvements, including a larger field of view, faster scan acquisition times, and greater operator efficiency. XL Scans are continually updated with new sequences and protocols.
Magna Vu's imagers can detect fractures x-ray cannot, making them ideal for many orthopedic studies to determine the need for a cast. The soft tissue diagnostic capability offers a competitively priced alternative to x-ray at the point of care. Applications include conditions such as suspect fractures, bone tumors, heel spurs, turf toe and tennis elbow.
The MV1000-XL T1 Scan is faster at under 9 minutes and a 50% increase in scan depth from the base model. Resolution has been increased to 0.6mm with no gaps between slices which translates into more detail with more slices. Cryogen life and fill life is longer at 6 - 8 hours.
