Laser chillers designed and manufactured by CustomChill, Inc. are state of the art electronic devices which utilize the Peltier effect (thermoelectric cooling) for maintaining a specific fluid temperature precisely, which is necessary to ensure the best performance of a laser chilling system. Thermoelectric cooling (TEC) technology is well-known for its reliability and cost-effectiveness, producing high efficiency cooling/heating devices. These laser chillers can be used in wide range of applications, such as cooling the heated components in laser systems (diodes), treating hypothermia in medical procedures
A laser chiller is the main component and the most important device used in managing laser temperature to insure high quality performance and long life of the laser system. Laser chillers are completely self-contained devices, able to serve the purpose of removing heat from laser heat-dissipating components. Fluid temperature control is done by microprocessor, which allows it to maintain high temperature accuracy of +/- 0.1 °C for outgoing fluid temperature.
