Beckman Synchron CX7 CE Chemistry System with Delta upgrade. The advanced automation simplifies and expedites the entire testing preparation process. The Synchron CX7 provides the capability of performing 24 photometric chemistry determinations, positive sample ID, primary tube sampling and host query. The CX3 module does STAT testing for sodium, potassium, chloride, carbon dioxide (through the use of non-ion selective electrodes), glucose, BUN, calcium and creatinine. Primary tube sampling function accommodates five blood collection tube sizes with no adaptors required. Maximizes operator safety while keeping sample preparation requirements. Host query function bidirectionally interfaces with a host computer for automatic receipt of programming information from the host at the time of sample preparation. A single key stoke initiates a run. Time and labor requirements for testing preparation are greatly reduced, as well as errors associated with manual programming. The onboard laser simultaneously scans and verifies barcode labels for the five most common barcode symbologies, and automatically adjusts to variability in label position, paper and ink quality. Automatic tube size, sample cup and barcode discrimination allows the intermixing of labeled tubes, unlabeled tubes, sample cups, and MicroTubes either on the sector or within a run. Tedious alliquoting and sorting are virtually eliminated. It accommodates serum, urine, plasma or CSF within the same sector or run with no special pretreatment or calibration, and no waiting for serum samples to clot for routine or urgent care requests. Up to 90-day calibration stability for many chemistries increases system productivity. Easy chemistry selection and/or barcode programming options simplify system operation for new and high-volume users. Throughput of up to 525 tests per hour. Automatic loading and unloading of sample sectors simplifies system operation and optimises test throughput. 28 resident tests including electrolytes from Beckman's extensive reagent menu and memory capacity for up to 200 different methods. Beckman's proven ion selective electrode electrolyte technology - the undisputed leader for superior accuracy and reliability in electrolyte analysis. Sample volume is 3µL to 69µL, sample capacity is 63 samples (with continuous loading), barcode and primary sample tube capacity is up to 63 samples, continuous loading. Sector programming is 420 samples.
