• Main heater is submerged in water, thus eliminating the Pelton & Crane "cracked" or "burned-out" catastrophic chamber failures, common in autoclaves with non-immersed heaters
• Uses ordinary tap water
• Separate drying heater removes residual moisture at the end of the cycle
• No electronics makes this unit simple to operate and inexpensive to mantain
