Medasonics Versatone D8
(CooperSurgical) This multipurpose Doppler system is designed for operating room use by anesthesiologists, general surgeons, plastic surgeons and neurosurgeons. It offers flexibility, with four interchangeable probes that address three primary clinical applications. Order probes separately. Model P81 probe is designed to detect air emboli when the operative site is higher than the level of the heart. Use Model P82 probe to assess and detect blood flow at the operative site. Model P83 probe is the same as Model P82 probe but is used when a shorter length probe is required. Model P84 probe monitors peripheral blood flow, assesses vessel patency, monitors and evaluates blood flow away from the surgical site and is used to measure systolic blood pressure.

The Doppler system´s electrocautery cutout feature shuts down the unit during coagulation and cutting. It may operate either from direct line current or an internal rechargeable battery which provides 16 to 24 hours of continuous use. All probes are electrically insulated from the operator and patient. The system is constructed with a rugged metal chassis with carrying handle. Probe and accessory storage available under hinged lid. Model P82 and P83 are sterilizable using gas (EtO) or plasma systems (STERRAD® sterilizers).
