This system is complete with scale, scanner, barcode reader, draft guard, calibration key, scoop, operating manual, operational video disk, 100 gram calibration weight and original box and packing. I believe the scale is new old stock and has never been used. This system is ready to use as soon as you receive it. I have fully tested all features and functions and it works perfect. This system was designed by pharmacists for pharmacists and it only takes about 10 minutes reading the operating manual to be fully familiar with the operation.
Will quickly count the number of pills/tablets in a bottle or in bulk perfect for outpatient pharmacies, health care, laboratory or even home use for those of you who handle a lot of medication. Good for European or US electricity. Good for compound weighing and the scale will work just fine as a stand-alone unit without the scanner/barcode reader attached. This system is also printer compatible.
The scanner/barcode reader plugs into the scale and capable of a 3240 pill/tablet pre-calibrated onboard pill/tablet record library. When the record library is full then the oldest unused record is automatically deleted to provide room for new records in turn keeping the record library up to date with your inventory. Simply scan the barcode on the bulk prescription or bottle and your ready to start counting. This machine can be tared for any bottle, bowl or scoop to make pill handling easier. The hand held laser light barcode reader will mount in the scanner unit for “hands free” use or can be removed to be operated by hand with trigger.
Counting is easy by dropping either 5 or 10 tablets on the tray or in the scoop. The machine quickly calibrates itself to the weight of these pills enabling the user to place any number of pills on the tray/bowl/scoop and the machine will tell you exactly how many pills there are. Will remain set at the last pill counted until the user decides to change it. Perfect for multiple prescription filling. I have posted several pictures of the machine in use. The "t/c" on the display represents "total count", the "g" represents "gram".
This machine can also be set to use as a gram scale to measure 0.02g – 310g but does display in 0.001 increments. I have tested the machine several times and it has worked perfectly every time in the pill counting mode, scale mode and record library modes. New product barcodes are easily entered into the library. Can be used hands free. I read on a Mckesson website this machine has the capability to weigh up to 400 pills every 10 seconds. I spoke with a Mckesson technician who told me this scale is accurate to +/- 1 pill per 1000 when dealing with small pills, even more accurate for larger pills. The balance scale mode is so accurate I was able to weigh a grain of salt. This system is still supported by the manufacturer and over the years I have found the Mckesson technical support staff will bend over backwards to help you.

CONDITION:
This system is in excellent condition. Perfect working condition with minimal sign of previous use and no damage. I believe the scale is new and never used. I have fully tested all features and functions of this machine. Super user friendly and I was easily able to perform all functions the unit is designed to include pill counting, gram counting, compounding, calibrating, scanning, entering into the record library, record library retrieval.
