Letter From the Editor

Take Your Base

It's been a busy time of medical conferences and news. DOTmed is everywhere these days as we try to cover all the bases (and switch from our football to our baseball metaphors).

We just got back from the combined Imaging 100 and ASC 100 (ambulatory surgical centers) meetings, along with the AORN (perioperative nurses), HIMSS and AIUM (ultrasound) conferences. HIMSS in particular is the subject of intensive focus since federal dollars are being invested in health IT; electronic medical records solutions amaze and abound.

Read coverage of these events and constituencies today and in the future as we bring it home to you.

See you tomorrow.
