Recent examples of how CareFusion's Remote Support Services program has assisted hospitals in minimizing interruptions and saving time include:
-Federal changes to Daylight Savings dates made a code change necessary across CareFusion product lines. With the automated software distribution capabilities provided through Remote Support Services, more than 1,500 customer sites were updated in fewer than three days without needing to dispatch service technicians to sites.
-CareFusion used Remote Support Services to implement an enhanced version of their Bio-ID security feature across their primary product line. Through the Remote Support Services software distribution channel, 39,000 devices were updated in fewer than 10 days without the typical requirement for on-site field technical support.
