TriMedx to Join Pre-RSNA Webinar on Equipment Service -- You're Invited to Attend

DOTmed is conducting an in-depth study of the market forces that are shaping the equipment service industry today. The research compiled from that study will be presented in a 60-minute webinar on November 18th, 2PM EST, entitled: "The Evolution of Equipment Service: How to Navigate Through Tough Financial Times." A 30 minute live Q&A session will follow.

Among the webinar participants will be TriMedx, a premier provider of clinical technology management services, including equipment repair, preventive maintenance, and data management.

This webinar will be of particular interest to financial people, in-house service personnel, front-line department heads, as well as OEMs and Independents. Registration is free and open to all.

"The current recession has intensified the economic challenges the healthcare industry is facing," noted Matt Ulman, chief technology officer for DOTmed. "We wanted to measure the impact the recession was having on equipment service and maintenance at the grassroots level, and find out, on a statistical basis, what options hospitals were adopting to cope," Ulman said. "Everyone knows this recession is a different creature and a great many people will want to see the data we have to present. The trends we are observing will be of significant interest to all stakeholders," Ulman added.

The impetus to initiate this study began several months ago during a meeting at a DOTmed conference between Rob Piconi, president of ReMedPar, and Philip Jacobus, president of DOTmed. ReMedPar was looking for a vendor-neutral company knowledgeable about the independent parts and service business to undertake a study of the affect of the recession on service. DOTmed's reputation for impartiality, and their ability to attract a large audience, helped make this project a reality -- with ReMedPar ultimately sponsoring the webinar, which is expected to draw a large audience.

"Attendees will see the facts as we found them and will draw their own conclusions," said Ulman. "There will be interesting interactive surveys during the webinar that will take the pulse of the audience and may offer up some interesting results. A major parts and service customer is also scheduled to be available live to add their perspective," Ulman added.

Anyone not able to attend the live webinar will be able to see it on-demand on DOTmed.com after the event.

DOTmed will be conducting a follow-up survey at RSNA, North Building, Booth #7803, as will ReMedPar, South Building, Booth #2550.
