Amis said an ACR panel in 2007 developed 33 recommendations to improve physician knowledge of radiation risks, such as increased emphasis on the topic in medical schools. And at the Radiological Society of North America's annual meeting next month, the group plans to launch the Image Wisely campaign, a push to improve knowledge of imaging risks for adults, and a counterpart of the ongoing Image Gently campaign for children.
