The VA’s VistA Imaging system integrates clinical images, scanned documents, and other non-textual data into the patient's electronic medical record. VistA Imaging can capture and manage many different kinds of images, including clinical images from endoscopy, pathology, dermatology, cardiology, radiology and nuclear medicine images, scanned clinical and administrative documents and ECG waveforms.

ScImage has received an official ATO (Authorization to Operate) and ATC (Authorization to Connect) from the Department of Defense (DoD) Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) enabling DoD military service branches to implement ScImage’s PICOM365 PACS at DoD medical treatment facilities around the globe.

With the diagnostic viewing and reporting capabilities of ScImage’s PICOM365 Enterprise PACS, reading and reporting of all medical imaging exams is consolidated within a single platform, which can boost productivity while simplifying operations and minimizing support costs. PICOM365’s scalable, web-enabled platform integrates easily with complex workflow environments and complies with HL7, DICOM and IHE standards.

ScImage’s PACS solution for enterprise imaging and distributed workflow are in use by the U.S. Government’s Veterans Integrated Service Networks, the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force, and many dignitary healthcare organizations in the U.S.
