JII is pursuing a strategic build-up in the growing, highly fragmented global medical equipment market. As the first platform acquisition, GMI and its management team will be backed by JII’s permanent capital base to continue to grow both organically and through acquisition. In addition, JII is pursuing additional platform acquisitions in the broader medical equipment market to further augment GMI’s growth and provide cross-selling opportunities among the family of companies.

“The commitment and resources provided by JII will propel GMI into the future and provide the catalyst for development of a top-notch nationwide imaging sales and service organization,” states Jon Perry, CEO of GMI. “In addition, as companies are added to the build-up, it will further enhance our ability to serve our customers and provide substantial growth opportunities for our employees.”
