Sonora's Ultrasound Service Training Courses Gain Accreditation through Colorado Community College System (CCCS)

Sonora Medical Systems, a leading supplier of after market products, training, services and test equipment to the medical imaging market, is pleased to announce a new partnership with Front Range Community College (FRCC) and the Colorado Community College System (CCCS). Sonora is now able to award college credit for students who attend an ultrasound training course at Sonora's main campus in Longmont, Colorado. "This new partnership is in line with Sonora's overall dedication to quality and providing best-in-class training to our valued Biomedical and Clinical Engineering customers, " said G. Wayne Moore, President and CEO of Sonora. "Accreditation for our ultrasound training program now provides our students with more than just industry standard knowledge. They are also able to obtain valuable college credits for their time spent here at Sonora." Upon completion of any ultrasound course, students may receive transfer credits that can be applied toward continuing education credits, a college degree and ultrasound service qualification. Sonora Medical Systems, in cooperation with Front Range Community College (FRCC), can also award an Ultrasound Service Certificate to all students who complete the Basic Ultrasound Service Course along with two Sonora Advanced Ultrasound Service Courses.
