Plano, TEXAS | April 12, 2020 – medQ, a leading provider of workflow automation solutions, installs their signature Q/ris 3000 Enterprise Imaging Workflow software at several CARTI Cancer Centers throughout Arkansas. The installation represents part of CARTI’s efforts to consolidate healthcare IT systems and introduce higher levels of automation for its rising radiology procedure volumes.

“As we’ve grown, we have accumulated several disparate healthcare systems. For our radiology team, the Q/ris 3000 works as a unifier of these systems, and eliminates several manual processes that our radiology techs and admins were required to perform” said Rick Lee, RIS/PACS Administrator at CARTI. “Manual data entry, manual management of CPT codes, manual distribution of final reports—all of those inefficiencies have been significantly reduced or eliminated.”

The Q/ris 3000 installation includes several automation features that not only increases CARTI’s operational efficiency, but also improves the patient experience.

“Automating these processes provides a significant amount of data reliability, creates a smoother experience for our staff, and more importantly, gives our techs the ability to focus only on treating our patients,” stated Lee.
