Craneware to Highlight Best Practices for Optimizing Revenue Capture Processes in Two Seminar Presentations During HFMA

ATLANTA -- Craneware, Inc., a leader in financial improvement software solutions for the U.S. healthcare market, today announced that key client and company experts will deliver two separate presentations during the Healthcare Financial Management Association's (HFMA's) 2009 ANI: The Healthcare Finance Conference, June 14-17, 2009 in Seattle. In addition to presenting in conference sessions, Craneware will celebrate 10 years of innovation in delivering solutions that improve the financial performance of healthcare organizations.

She will join Mike Reppart, Director, Business Services, Hendrick Medical Center; and Jonnetta Selvidge, RN, Director, Revenue Integrity, St. John Medical Center. Together, they will provide the practical steps to consider when setting pricing levels, evaluating mark-up formulas, developing a pricing database, and applying pricing benchmarks. The session will also offer a sample list of five price-sensitive service lines.

On Tuesday, June 16, Kelley Blair, senior consultant at Craneware, will co-present "Leveraging Electronic Tools for Effective Accountability in the CDM Maintenance Process." Blair will join Debbie Flaska, CDM and Coding Manager, Trinity Health. During this session the presenters will deliver a method for optimizing organizational reimbursement and compliance using an automated chargemaster management process. Attendees will take away ideas for creating new charge description master (CDM) maintenance policies and procedures.
