Boston Scientific Creates 45 New Jobs

Boston Scientific Corporation announced that it is creating 45 new jobs in research, development and innovation initiatives. It plans on investing an additional €91m at its Galway site with the support of Government through IDA Ireland.

The investment will move BSC Galway's R&D from late stage development to an earlier, innovative stage, requiring the development of new competencies and skill sets so that it can create new pioneering technology.

Boston Scientific employs approximately 5,000 people in Ireland, 3,000 of whom are located in Galway.
