In DOTmed's story of June 10 (DM 9305), we asked if you had registered for the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT) 4th Annual Scientific Meeting to be held July 16-19, 2009 in Orlando. Now we can ask if you're planning to view the interactive session titled "Advocacy and Reimbursement: 2010 and Beyond."
This just-added session will cover initiatives and trends with coding, calculation of expenses and reimbursements for cardiac CT angiography. It will be held July 16th from 8:00-9:00 p.m.
The SCCT annual meeting provides evidence-based information regarding technical applications, methods and clinical results in cardiovascular CT. A renowned faculty will present the latest research, and attendees will also hear information on proposed legislation and regulatory policies that directly affect diagnostic imaging and patient care.
More than 1,000 professionals including cardiologists, nuclear medicine physicians, technologists, radiologists, nurses and administrators are expected to attend. For more information, see www.scct.org
