With an aging population and some increasingly prevalent conditions such as type two diabetes putting pressure on the health service, technology will play an increasing role in helping people to remain independent in their own homes for longer. On November 26th 2009, a seminar hosted by De Montfort University at the National Space Centre, Leicester will look at the opportunity created by increasing deployment of assistive living technologies.
