Our hospital was purchased by another hospital and we are auctioning this Philips Brilliant 64 Slice CT Scanner. We are replacing all of our imaging equipment that is not Siemens with Siemens equipment because we are a 100% Siemens house going forward.


This is a unique situation. We will not know if the tube installed in June of 2023 is a brand-new tube or a used tube until the scanner is deinstalled. Our director will not let us shut down the scanner and open the gantry as the unit is in use.

This auction assumes that the tube is new. When the unit is deinstalled, the engineer will examine the tube is not new then DOTmed will give you a $10,000 refund,

The auction you are viewing now assumes the tube installed in June 2023 was new.

On the day that the scanner is deinstalled we will take a picture of the label on the tube.

The x-ray tube was installed June 16, 2023. As of August 22, 2023, there were 105,712 total scan seconds on this replacement tube.

The total gantry use is as follows: 551,965,509 total scan seconds and 95,650,230 total mAS as of May 10th, 2023.

This system is air-cooled.

The software version is v4.1.7.22030, EBW: V4.5.1.63035, Scanner: V4.1.7.10503

DOTmed will de-install the machine, there will be a fee of $6,000.00 to de-install the system and $1700 to deliver it to their DOTmed, Monroe warehouse for pick up.
The equipment is installed and operational, is in clinical use and is currently covered by a service contract.

DOTMED ENCOURAGES YOU TO INSPECT EQUIPMENT BEFORE YOU BID. ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD 'AS IS' & 'WHERE IS' AND UNLESS THE SELLER HAS INDICATED OTHERWISE, THERE WILL BE NO REFUND.

Availability:

The equipment will be removed and delivered to the DOTmed warehouse the week of March 4th.

You are free to inspect this equipment but if you want to inspect the equipment please do so before you bid. If you would like to arrange to inspect this equipment click on "Email Seller" above.

The equipment is located in Patchogue, NY.

Terms:

The Successful Bidder agrees to remit payment in full within 48 hours of the Auction's close.

If the Successful Bidder fails to remit payment according to the schedule described above, then the equipment will be sold to the next highest Bidder.

Deinstallation, Packing, Crating and Transportation will be paid by the Successful Bidder.

Title will transfer from the Seller to the Successful Bidder upon payment in full.
There will be a nominal Auction Hosting Fee added to the amount due if you are the Successful Bidder. This fee will be paid directly to DOTmed.com and not to the Seller of this Auction. See the Hosting Fee schedule in the table below.
