Job Description:


As a senior biomedical technician, BMET III, you are going to be responsible for responding to service calls, performing repairs, preventive and planned maintenance, and providing associated documentation for company and customer owned medical equipment to assure it is functioning properly. You will also take on a leadership role among the other biomedical technicians.

Responsibilities:


Evaluate and diagnose medical equipment issues, take corrective action and/or make repairs, perform preventive and planned maintenance and inspections, and provide associated documentation for multiple modalities.
Lead other biomedical technicians, provide instruction, guidance, and assistance as needed.
Adhere to our company’s code of conduct policy, help improve and further develop our internal procedures and policies with our team.
Engage in constructive communication with customers with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Maintain and ensure testing equipment is calibrated (most of our testing equipment is brand new, you will be working with the best equipment available), take proper care of tools, associated job supplies, and company vehicle.
Act as the lead for complex projects.

Physical and Other Requirements:


Candidates must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs., frequently bend, crouch, kneel, stand for extended periods of time, and climb regularly.
Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications:


Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields and 3+ years of experience servicing medical equipment; or equivalent military education and training and 3+ years of experience servicing medical equipment; or high school diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience servicing medical equipment.
Experienced in developing and maintaining customer relations.
Familiarity and proficiency in understanding technical diagrams and using computer/smartphone software and applications in developing procedures and documenting work and workflows.
