Peter Rothschild, CEO of Patient Comfort Systems, met with DOTmed News for an exclusive recap of his MRMS lecture, which focused on infection control in the MRI room.

Rothschild discussed the overlooked concern of infections, like methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and parasites living in pillows and bedding. He pointed out that when it comes to infection control in the MRI, it could be due to the fact that the equipment is extremely hard to clean.
