Carestream Health inked a deal with Diagnostic Medical Systems subsidiary Apelem to sell its remote-controlled radiographic tables to customers in France and Belgium.
Under the deal, announced by Carestream this week, Carestream will sell two Platinum models, one with a fixed detector and another with a mobile detector and wireless functionality. Carestream says the tables complement its DRX-1 detector products, cassette-sized detectors used to convert analogue X-ray rooms to DR technology.
"The agreement reached with DMS will enable us to offer a complete range of medical imaging systems to our French and Belgian customers," Carestream's European sales chief Anton Graule said in a statement.
