Premier healthcare alliance, a group purchasing organization, said Monday it signed agreements with Medrad Inc. and two other firms to provide its member hospitals with MRI-compatible equipment, such as drug pumps.

In addition to Indianola, Pa.-based Medrad, the agreements involve two Florida companies, Invivo Corp. of Orlando and IRadimed Corp. of Winter Park.

Premier said the agreements, which went into effect on Sunday, are available to the GPO's acute care and continuum of care members. Overall, Premier has about 2,500 hospital members.
