El Centro Regional Medical Center To Implement MEDHOST's Emergency Department Technology

ADDISON, Texas - El Centro Regional Medical Center, located in El Centro, Calif., will implement MEDHOST's Emergency Department Information System (EDIS). MEDHOST's EDIS supplements hospital emergency departments (ED) with an easy-to-use and proficient technology platform that is proven to drastically improve charge capture, helps increase patient safety and reduces individual wait times. Accompanying its EDIS technologies, MEDHOST will provide El Centro Regional Medical Center with a full suite of consulting, support and training initiatives.
MEDHOST's EDIS will help El Centro Regional Medical Center improve communications and create steady work flow, as well as facilitate assistance in all levels of patient care, including registration, tracking, order entry, documentation, and billing and discharge. Clinician acceptance and compliance will be maximized by user-friendly touch screen technology and clinical content that can be customized to El Centro's specific needs with MEDHOST's Administrative ToolKit application. MEDHOST also provides ED consultants to oversee the installation and training and assist the ED manager with a smooth transition.
