Last week, Americans were able to go online and shop for health insurance coverage through online health exchanges that were set up under the Affordable Care Act. These exchanges, or marketplaces, are central to the main goal of the law, which is to expand health coverage to Americans.

There are two schools of thought when it comes to the Affordable Care Act. One says that the law was passed, given the blessing of the Supreme Court (at least most of it) and should proceed. This group probably did not criticize the long wait times people experienced when the exchanges went live last week. More than likely, they saw the big demand as a validation that many people want to sign up.

Another school of thought thinks that the Affordable Care Act is bad for our country and that it should be repealed. This group probably sees the long wait times on the health exchanges as another example of the dysfunction of the Obama administration.

Many of my friends have asked me what I think because they believe I'm knowledgeable on the subject. But you, our readers, are uniquely qualified to comment on this topic. So I am asking you to share your views.
