Lydia Hingle of LH Imaging Becomes DOTmed Certified

When Buyers hear that LH Imaging is based in New Orleans, they usually hesitate for a bit. The equipment that I sell is not FROM New Orleans, Lydia needs to explain.

Even though Ms. Hingles X-ray and imaging company was only a few months old when Hurricane Katrina hit, momentum did not stop. The New Orleans native evacuated to Natchez, Mississippi for three weeks and then Hammond, Louisiana for another two weeks.

When Ms. Hingle returned home to Kenner, Louisiana after the storm, she continued to build her business from the ground up. Using her daughter, Stefanie McLemore, as her locator, LH Imaging contacts hospitals throughout the US and South America to see if they have supplies that they would like to sell. She relies on cold-calling and direct mail.

As a new company, DOTmed has proved invaluable in forming business contacts. Lydia met most of her medical suppliers through DOTmed. [With DOTmed] I can look at new companies and check their credibility so that I know with whom I am dealing. Reputation is very important in this industry, she says.

Lydia could not be any more on target with her previous statement. Now that her website bears the DOTmed Certified stamp, more people will want to do business with her. DOTmed Certification signals to potential customers that each and every one of her sales transactions will be handled professionally. Lydia also makes sure to get references from everyone she deals with on the website.
