UroToday.com -- This presentation from the annual meeting of the AUA examined outcomes of 109 tumors treated with RFA and 192 tumors treated with cryoablation. Biopsy was performed at 6 months post therapy in 37 RFA patients and 97 cryotherapy patients. Success (defined as a negative biopsy) was noted in only 64.8% of RFA patients and 93.8% in cryotherapy patients. [click link for full article]
