Carestream Health Announces Orders for Imaging, Information Management Systems

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Carestream Health, Inc., announced it recently signed contracts for its KODAK CARESTREAM PACS and KODAK CARESTREAM RIS solutions with leading U.S. healthcare facilities, including Regional Medical Center (Memphis, Tenn.) and Valley Presbyterian Hospital (Van Nuys, Calif.).

In addition, some facilities purchased KODAK CARESTREAM Information Management Solutions for enterprise-wide management of images and data, KODAK DIRECTVIEW Computed Radiography (CR) Systems for digital capture of medical x-ray exams or CARESTREAM Business Diagnostics to help their facilities apply proven lean-thinking methodologies that can deliver improved productivity, dramatic revenue gains and reduced waste.

The following healthcare providers are among those that have placed orders for Carestream Health's medical imaging and healthcare IT solutions:

-- Clinton PHS Clinic (Clinton, Okla.), part of Indian Health Services, has ordered CARESTREAM PACS and Information Management Solutions along with KODAK DIRECTVIEW CR systems to establish a digital radiology environment and provide a central imaging archive. This is the second IHS clinic with a CARESTREAM PACS and CR solution in Oklahoma.

-- Decatur County Hospital (Leon, Iowa) purchased CARESTREAM PACS.

-- Gulf Coast Medical Center (Wharton, Texas), a Signature Hospital Corporation facility, contracted for CARESTREAM Business Diagnostics to deliver enhanced workflow as part of another vendor's PACS implementation and to improve efficiency in its admissions/registration department.

-- Mercy Medical Hospital (Centerville, Iowa) ordered CARESTREAM PACS.

-- Patients Medical Center (Pasadena, Texas) purchased KODAK DIRECTVIEW CR 975 and CR 825 Systems, and a KODAK DRYVIEW 8150 Laser Imaging System.

-- Regional Medical Center (Memphis, Tenn.) purchased CARESTREAM PACS and CARESTREAM Enterprise Information Management.

-- Sports Medicine Associates (San Antonio, Texas) purchased two DIRECTVIEW CR 850 systems and two DRYVIEW 8150 Laser Imaging Systems.

-- Valley Presbyterian Hospital (Van Nuys, Calif.) ordered a CARESTREAM PACS and DIRECTVIEW CR systems.
