ET-XR: The new integrated patient positioning solution for CT scans

October 16, 2018 -- Imalin Medical announces the introduction of Easy Trip XR (ET-XR): an integrated, fast and hygienic positioning solution designed to provide comfort and stability for patients being scanned with their arms overhead.
CT scanners have significantly evolved over the past years: Higher slice systems offer enhanced performance, where high quality images are taken within a few seconds. However, often patients must hold their arms over their head and stay still during their chest-abdomen-pelvis CT scans. Doing so creates patient discomfort and fidgeting, which may lead to distorted images.
