SAN FRANCISCO (American Dental Association Annual Session) - PracticeWorks, Inc., a part of Carestream Health and the exclusive maker of KODAK Dental Systems, announces its MASTERWORKS Interactive Web Training Program. The company's new online training program focuses on empowering dental professionals through collaborative and easy-to-use learning technology.

Combining live instructor-led online classes, interactive recorded online classes, simulations and job aids, the program provides a unique blend of e-learning services designed with the needs of today's dental practices in mind.

Using easy-to-learn virtual classroom software, students simply log in to the "classroom" from any practice or home computer, and then share documents, presentations, and applications - as well as interact with classmates and ask questions of colleagues - all in real-time. And with many of the live online classes taught with multiple practices participating, students gain the opportunity to network with and learn from other dental practices.

Customized Approach Tailored to Individual and Practice Needs

No two dental practices are exactly alike. Every practice has unique challenges that require personalized educational solutions. The program enables practices to design their own personalized course schedule based on their unique needs, with a wide variety of course offerings that focus on specific job descriptions. Dental professionals can choose the specific types of online training formats that they prefer, mixing live and recorded classes with interactive simulations.

The current library of interactive courses focuses on best practices and how-to topics related to practice management and KODAK Dental Systems. Current focus areas include practice management software, dealing with insurance-related issues, preparing for a chartless practice, and using the KODAK RVG 6100 Digital Radiography System.

All courses are taught by certified instructors who complete a rigorous training program that emphasizes course content, teaching, and presentation techniques. Other unique features of the MASTERWORKS Interactive Web Training Program include:

Recordings of all live online classes are made available, allowing students to review the class anytime during their training subscription

Practices no longer have to close the office when training and team members can take classes at different times

Students can control the speed at which content is completed, and shorter class times contribute to better retention of material
