Five Minutes in Healthcare is a new series we've introduced in HealthCare Business News, where I discuss current events with some of the industry's most influential leaders, as well as innovative thinkers who are working to meet the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic.
Over the last week I have had the pleasure of speaking to Andrew Colbert, Taylor Stapleton and Joseph Chackola. Each interview is approximately five minutes long, or a few minutes over five.
In the following installment we speak to Andrew Colbert, senior managing director and founding member of Ziegler’s Healthcare Corporate Finance Practice, about how various types of healthcare providers are handling reduced patient volumes during COVID-19, and the resources at their disposal.
Those
resources include government support like
the CARES Act and
Paycheck Protection Program, as well as Ziegler's own discussions with experts on
how radiology can bounce back from the pandemic.
In the following installment we speak to Taylor Stapleton, Bluegrass Media's director of provider relationships and education for IDN & ACE Summit, about the ways the pandemic is impacting his meetings and the ways the industry, and its events, will be different in the future.
As part of IDN Summit's outreach efforts, it is offering a
list of COVID-19 resources and suppliers on its website, as well as
complimentary webinars with timely insight from healthcare, business, community and government leaders.
In the following installment we speak to Informa Life Sciences' Joseph Chackola, about the ways the pandemic is impacting different parts of India, and the importance of keeping things in perspective and taking life one day at a time.
Please tell us what you think, and let us know who you would like to see interviewed next!
