Five Minutes in Healthcare is a new series we've introduced in HealthCare Business News, where I discuss current events with some of the industry's most influential leaders, as well as innovative thinkers who are working to meet the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic.

Over the last week I have had the pleasure of speaking to Dr. Bruce Haffty, Laura Hafner, Mehdi Smail and Steve Vest. Each interview is approximately five minutes long, or a few minutes over five.

In this installment, we check in with Dr. Bruce Haffty, RSNA's chairman of the board and a practicing radiation oncologist at Rutgers, about how he has been dealing with the coronavirus pandemic personally and professionally, and what it will mean for the RSNA annual meeting this year and going forward.

In this installment, we check in with Laura Hafner, the newly-appointed vice president of sales and marketing for Tri-Imaging Solutions, about her new role and the business impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

In this installment, I speak to my good friend Mehdi Smail, chief strategy officer for LBN Medical, about the success Denmark has had in fighting the coronavirus, the pandemic's longterm economic impact, and we also shifts gears to talk about a few of his classic cars.

In this installment we speak to Steve Vest, president of Nationwide Equipment Transport, about the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the freight industry.

We hope you enjoy the videos. Please tell us what you think, and let us know who you would like to see interviewed next!
