Five Minutes in Healthcare is where I discuss current events with some of the industry's most influential leaders, as well as innovative thinkers who are working to meet the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic.

Over the last week I have had the pleasure of speaking to Christopher Bacon, Paul Crowe and Dr. Eric Dusseux.

In this installment, I check in with Christopher Bacon, president of Minicarm.com, a resource for C-arm rentals, repair and purchasing. In addition to that, he is also the president of the New York Rolling Fury, a youth basketball league for people with physical disabilities.

We talk about the importance of organized sports for children with special needs. If you know a child in the New York area with an irreversible lower extremity disability, and the ability to push their own wheelchair, then I encourage you to get in touch with Christopher.

If you simply want to support a great cause, I hope you'll consider making a donation to the New York Rolling Fury online fundraiser.

During the interview, we also talk about Christopher's background with Orthoscan and how it prepared him to open minicarm.com, which does business throughout the country and around the world.

In this installment, I check in with Paul Crowe, CEO of NuView Life Sciences, about the three unique applications his company is developing to support cancer care. Using a proprietary binary test, the company can target cancer cells via in vitro laboratory assays to detect cancer, or in vivo PET scans for tumor localization, and potentially treat cancer with a theranostic capability.

In this installment, I check in with Dr. Eric Dusseux, CEO of BIONIK Laboratories, about the role of robotics in supporting neurological disease rehabilitation.

We hope you enjoy the videos. Please tell us what you think, and let us know who you would like to see interviewed next!
