September 27, 2023
Reston, VA—The Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) and the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) are pleased to announce the first three facilities to be awarded the new Radiopharmaceutical Therapy Accreditation. The accreditation indicates proficiency and competency in radiopharmaceutical therapy, a powerful technique for treating cancer that is now being used to great benefit in patients with prostate and other cancers.
The three accredited facilities are:
BAMF Health, of Grand Rapids, Michigan
Carilion Clinic Targeted Therapy Center, Roanoke, Virginia
Stanford Health Care, Stanford, California
The Radiopharmaceutical Therapy Accreditation Program was launched in June 2023.
