Philips unveiled its CT 5300 system to the North American market at RSNA 2024 in Chicago.

The scanner is equipped with Philips’ CT Smart Workflow for end-to-end AI-enabled solutions for improved productivity and patient care.

The CT Smart Workflow suite includes several innovative tools:

• Precise Position: A camera-based solution that improves scan preparation accuracy by up to 50%, reduces positioning time by 23%, and enhances consistency between users by 70%.
• Precise Cardiac: Reduces motion artifacts in cardiac imaging, particularly for patients with rapid heart rates.
• Precise Brain: Automates scan reformatting for enhanced brain imaging diagnostics.
• Precise Image: Offers high-quality image reconstruction with significant reductions in radiation dose, noise, and improved low-contrast detectability.

These tools aim to improve diagnostic confidence and streamline processes, particularly for facilities focusing on cardiac programs and low-dose screening initiatives. The system integrates seamlessly with Philips’ Advanced Visualization Workspace, an AI-enabled platform designed for scalable and efficient post-processing.
