Fujifilm Healthcare Americas Corporation has been awarded a four-year contract by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to supply its Persona C mobile fluoroscopy systems to U.S. military medical facilities.
The contract will equip treatment centers serving the Army, Air Force, Navy and Marines with Fujifilm’s surgical C-arm technology for imaging in diagnostic and minimally invasive procedures.
The contract, valued at over $10 million, was awarded following an evaluation of competing C-arm technologies. Fujifilm’s system was selected based on its imaging capabilities, adaptability, service support, and cybersecurity compliance, meeting the military’s operational requirements.
This marks the second time the Lexington, Massachusetts-based company has secured a multiyear contract with the DLA for its C-arm systems. The first agreement was awarded in December 2021. Under the new contract, initial deliveries and installations are expected to begin in early 2025, with additional deployments continuing over the next four years.
“Fujifilm is honored yet again to receive a multiyear federal award from the DLA, as it underscores the level of trust military officials place in our advanced technologies to treat our nation’s service men and women,” said Lou Cavallaro, senior director of the federal government business group at Fujifilm Healthcare Americas Corporation.
This agreement adds to Fujifilm’s growing presence in federal healthcare contracts. In 2023, the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) granted the company authority to operate its Synapse 7x enterprise imaging platform on DoD networks. Additionally, its ASPIRE Cristalle Acquisition Workflow System, used in 3D mammography, received Risk Management Framework approval for DoD implementation.
Fujifilm Healthcare Americas Corporation develops imaging and diagnostic technologies for medical applications. Its parent company, Tokyo-based Fujifilm Holdings Corporation, operates globally across multiple industries, including healthcare, electronics, and imaging.
