e-MDs, Inc. Announces Senior Management Team Changes

e-MDs, Inc., an industry leader in the development and implementation of electronic health records (EHRs) and Practice Management (PM) solutions, announced several changes in their senior management team.

David Winn, M.D., the founder and former CEO of e-MDs, will assume the role of Chairman of the Board. He will continue to contribute to the strategic direction of e-MDs while expanding his medical missionary work in foreign countries and other philanthropic endeavors.

Michael Stearns, M.D., formerly President of e-MDs, has assumed the role of President and CEO.

Dr. Stearns has participated in several high profile health information technology initiatives sponsored by the National Library of Medicine, the National Cancer Institute, SNOMED International, and HITSP. He has also spent much of the last seven years working closely with physicians on the design, development and implementation of electronic health records.

Maria Rudolph, MPH, has assumed the role of Vice President of Business Development. She brings extensive experience with electronic health record (EHR) vendors from her past roles in development and implementation at Cerner and QuadraMed, two leading acute care EHR vendors.
