Dubai is famous for its ambitious construction projects including a man-made
archipelago shaped like a map of the world. Last week's Arab Health conference also reflected a global theme with exhibitors organized by their home countries. DOTmed was a first-time exhibitor in the U.S. pavilion.

Traffic was very high and attendees were extremely interested in our industry.

"The business prospects in the Middle East are clearly huge for DOTmed.com and DOTmed users," said Robert Garment, DOTmed's director of marketing. "DOTmed will be expanding our footprint around the world throughout 2009 in markets like this with strong business opportunities."

An international affair

"It is a growing and developing region with a lot of money going into health care," noted DOTmed Project Manager David Blumenthal. "Everywhere in the world, affordable health care technology is hard to come by. So a company like DOTmed that can give this region a means to obtain affordable medical equipment--that is definitely a plus. There were many, many people who stopped by and already use our web site and thanked us for providing the service that we do."

DOTmed's booth was a hit

Visitors to our booth included a mix of engineers and medical equipment dealers and distributors--people who buy, sell and service medical equipment. Many attendees asked for DOTmed's new Buyer's Guide and our magazine, DOTmed Business News.
