Good physical and cosmetic condition. The centrifuge powers right on and cycle runs quietly as expected with no loud or unusual noises. Latch works perfectly and does not open unless the centrifuge is powered on and "OPEN" button is pressed. Minor cosmetic blemishes are seen like small scratches and scrapes on the side of the centrifuge, but nothing that could affect the performance of this unit. Comes with the 4 cylinders shown in listing's pictures.

Various fixed angle and swing-out rotors are available to process a variety of different tube types from 0.2 to 100 mL. These units are well suited for all standard blood collection, conical and microcentrifuge tubes, as well as standard and deep-well microplates. High speed and g-force make the 4417 series ideal for applications ranging from clinical to cell culture and molecular biology. Powerful, brushless motors quickly accelerate rotors to the preset speed. Braking is dynamically controlled to bring the rotors to a soft stop without disrupting fragile samples. Operation of the centrifuge may be timed, continuous or momentary. The rotor recognition system in the 4417 series provides safety and convenience when different rotors are used. Each rotor is recognized at the beginning of a run and automatically limited to its rated maximum speed. In addition, by recognizing the rotor, the microprocessor can accurately calculate and display g-force during a run.
