Microscope optics have been cleaned professionally under a class 10,000 clean room hood.

During testing this Zeiss Axio Observer.Z1 Fluorescence Motorized Microscope was found to have no issues.
A clear image was produced through the eyepieces as well as through the camera port.
All of the mechanical and motorized components moved freely and the test sample was able to be focused without excessive effort.

This Zeiss Axio Observer.Z1 Fluorescence Motorized Microscope is currently set up for Brightfield with Phase Contrast and Fluorescence studies.
This microscope has installed Definite Focus Z-drift compensation system. This allows samples to be imaged over long periods of time with no drift or change in the focal point due to vibration or temperature fluctuations.
This Zeiss Axio Observer.Z1 Fluorescence Motorized Microscope is used for biological studies. The MU1003 AmScope CMOS digital color camera is capable of taking detailed digital images.
The Zeiss system includes a Dell Latitude i5 laptop to control the AmScope software for live images along with MicroManager software for automated microscope control.
All motorized components can be controlled via touch pad or software.
